Bluey is an lovable interactive digital friend you can take everywhere. With tiny charms in the snug living room, around the vibrant kitchen and garden, there's lots to discover and hours of fun to be had. The level of detail in the graphics is stunning, the characters are rich in colors and animations are really fluid.
I think one thing that's made Bluey resonate with viewers is its emphasis on creativity and imaginative play. Kids have fun acting in a variety of different roles and making up their own stories. From games such as cooking a meal for the family, party games, or playing with the animals, to mini games such as eating hotdogs, exercising, or fly-bubbletime, there's something fun for everyone. The mini-games are simple but fun, ideally suited to younger players who are new to video games.
The controls are intuitive and a child can enjoy the game even if he or she is learning. The touch interface effortlessly creates a new level of interactivity with environments, and the voice-overs of the actors that played the original character gives an authenticity and immersion like you've never experienced in Jurassic world before. Not only does this make the game fun but it also assists children's growth by developing their problem solving skills, decision making and emotional play.
But, the game uses a subscription model, which presents a bit of a barrier for some families. Since some of the characters, areas and other features are limited without paying a monthly fee, it can feel restrictive if you're eager to enjoy the full potential of the game. Plus, a few families mention that the game can get a bit tedious over time, especially for older kids who eventually complete the available activities. The custom game mode creation mechanic would have been a cool one, but perhaps it could have used more depth itself, if greater good games made custom mode even deeper, players would have stayed for longer.

Bluey Budge Studios brings you a delightful educational game for little children based on the popular animated series Bluey. Based on the beloved and Emmy Award-winning Bluey series, which follows amusing Blue heeler pup Bluey and her family as they engage in imaginative adventures, the game offers a child-friendly and interactive world bursting with construction-based play.
Where the game shines is in its free-form exploration. Players roam around the Bluey family's house and backyard, interacting with different activities such as cooking in the kitchen, making a pizza oven or jumping on trampolines. Each level has a myriad of hidden surprises and interactive elements for curious young hands and minds to discover and explore. Children can also personalize characters and scenarios, adding another level of customization to their storytelling.
In terms of appearance, the game has a very colorful, cartoon reminder aesthetic, identical to that of the show. Vivid color schemes, elaborate settings, and charming character designs give a friendly impression. The game can be played by all ages with its touch-friendly controls-swipe or touch to pick up and drag objects.
But the game's monetization scheme has proven controversial. The core gameplay is fun, but there are complaints that the app often pressures folks to make in-app purchases in order to access other content (like new characters or locations). And for families who want a tot-full experience and are not yet convinced the $13 is worth it year after year (though, the web site tells me I qualify for a special promotion for a year of access for the low price of $12.95!) this paywall architecture could be a turn-off.
But that aside, Bluey does a great job of promoting creativity, social play and imaginative play. By partnering with the Bluey license, the game strikes a chord of authenticity with the show's fan base, while also bringing a safe, educational space for kids. If you don't mind jumping through the payment hoops, it's a lovely addition to the genre that manages to achieve its goals of being entertaining and offering a subtle opportunity to learn.

Family fun is an adorable recreation of the magic of Bluey, the immensely popular Australian children’s television show from which the game is based, a game which the whole family can play and enjoy, sets in the wonderful Bluey’s world to play and interact with different elements of this Australian influenced world.
The gameplay design is simple and polished, and the game play is very engaging. Players can pilot Bluey, Bingo and other characters from the beloved TV show through rec-league sports, shopping excursions, silly car rides, and all of the craziness that comes with being a preschooler. From “Keepy Uppy” with a ball to a fake camping trip in the backyard, each is about the kind of imaginative play the show has become famous for. It’s easy to play, which is great for young kids, and the range of different things to do means you don’t get bored.
Visually, “Bluey” is a treat. The game has bright, colorful graphics which are almost identical to the show’s art style. Character animations are smooth, and the detail in replicating familiar settings, such as the Heeler family home and the local park, is impressive. The default sound effects and voice acting of the show cast also adds for an immersion factor, allowing the players to feel as though they are part of the Bluey universe.
But, the game does have a few drawbacks. There's some loss in depth, older game players may think the content is somewhat basic, and the game is quite short to play through, too. Nonetheless, for the preschool and early-grade-school-age children it’s aimed at, “Bluey” is a delightful and heartwarming gaming experience that fosters playfulness and family togetherness, and as such, an excellent addition to any family’s game collection.

Bluey World is brought to life by the game, an adorable video game version of the top rated Australian kids TV series, Bluey. Created specifically for little Bluey fans, young kids can just slip their feet into the Bluey, Bingo, and family characters in the game, then it's off on an exciting adventure. The game features colorful graphics and a fun art so it matches the show well and instantly feels familiar to fans. Every aspect of this game, from its backyard setting (which will be familiar to viewers of the show) to the expressive character animations, serves to make this a place where your kids can feel like they’re living in Bluey’s world.
Gameplay is intentionally straightforward and easy to grasp so children as young as four can be enjoying the fun in no time. The games are based on episodes from the original show, offering a fusion of mini-games designed to get kids' creative juices flowing as well as their bodies moving. Be it playing “Keepy Uppy” with a balloon, digging for treasure in the yard or making up stories with toys — echoes the series’ focus on pretend play. The controls are simple, based on button presses or simple touchscreen taps, so kids can concentrate on having fun rather than trying to master complex mechanics.
One of the best things about the game is that creative thinking and problem-solving is promoted in a (virtually) no-stakes world. There are no high scores and brutal failures, only open ended play that rewards you for getting funky. Parents will also love the game’s family friendly design without ads or micro transactions. Adding voice clips from the original cast gives it credibility, and the uplifting score keeps the mood breezy and jubilant.
If there is any downside, it is only that anyone hoping for an experience more deep or lengthy will be left wanting. But for what it’s trying to do, as a fun, enjoyable extension of the Bluey universe, it works splendidly. Bluey is a delightful way to introduce the youngest kiddos to the world of gaming, providing a safe, cheery, and constantly entertaining venue to experience the Heeler family’s hijinks from the warmth of their own living room.
